In 2003, after watching Eight at Eight Dinner Club being featured on Oprah (yes, Oprah!), Michelle called and convinced Sarah Kathryn to hire her. A stay-at-home mom at the time, she claimed she could recruit singles and help with the flood of calls and emails the show triggered. From home. While her infant daughter slept. And was she ever right.

Sarah Kathryn was instantly – and, to this day, remains – impressed by the love that both of them share for matchmaking – and her background. Michelle got her start in the industry in 1997, when she began working for Beatrice Gruss, one of matchmaking’s pioneers. As Atlanta’s top matchmaker, Beatrice blazed a tremendous trail for others to follow – and we still look up to her.

With a passion for improving the lives of others, and helping people on their journeys to find love, Michelle is highly skilled at coaching clients to become happier, healthier daters. She has done extensive research on the art of dating and relationships – and encourages date coaching clients to apply her findings in practical ways. As the field is always evolving and changing, Michelle continues to further her education in the areas of coaching, healthy relationships, and communication.

One of the most respected names in matchmaking, Sarah Kathryn Walmsley is a 20-year veteran of the dating industry; and she has been profiled as an authority on relationships and singles issues by The Wall Street Journal, The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, and many others. In fact, her expertise has led to more than 300 marriages and serious relationships. A stickler for excellent member service, Sarah Kathryn is extremely involved in the day-to-day business operations.
